Windows Sound System compatible Sound
System provides internal speakers as well as
jacks for an external microphone and
headphone.
This jack outputs analog audio signals.
A 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables
connection of a three conductor mini jack for
monaural microphone input.
Audio/Video control buttons let you use the
computer's optical media drive as a stand alone
audio CD player. You can also use the buttons to
control the computer's DVD video player and
Windows Media player when the system is on.
An internal modem provides capability for data
and fax communication. It supports V.90 (V.92).
The speed of data transfer and fax depends on
analog telephone line conditions. It has a modem
jack for connecting to a telephone line. V.92 is
supported only in USA, Canada, Australia, UK,
France and Germany. V.90 is available in other
regions.
The computer is equipped with a LAN card that
supports Ethernet LAN (10 Mbit/s, 10BASE T)
and Fast Ethernet LAN (100 Mbit/s,
100BASE TX).
Connects an optional security lock to anchor the
computer to a desk or other large object.
