Saw Hook (sold separately)
(Fig. 9, 10)
To reduce the risk of injury,
do not use the saw hook if it
appears damaged or deformed. This could re-
sult in unstable hanging and the tool unexpect-
edly falling.
To reduce the risk of injury, use care in selecting
the location for hanging the tool.
• Select a suitably sized and shaped object that
will provide adequate hanging stability. An un-
suitable hanging surface could result in the
tool unexpectedly falling.
• Make sure that the tool is hung out of the way
of walkways and working areas with bystand-
ers. The tool could be bumped or a bystander
could become entangled, causing the tool to
unexpectedly fall.
To install the Saw Hook (Fig. 9):
Squeeze the cover 3 at the sides and remove
it. Mount the Saw Hook 30, and secure it with
the two screws provided. The screws should be
tightened with 16 in-lbs (1.8 - 2 Nm).
To use the Saw Hook (Fig. 10):
Simply lift up the Saw Hook 30 until it snaps
into the open position. The saw hook can be
swiveled. When not in use, always close the saw
hook until it snaps into the closed position.
Lock-off Release Buttons
(Fig. 1)
The Lock-off release buttons are designed to
prevent accidental starts. To operate, press the
Release Button 2 with your thumb on either side
of handle to disengage the lock, then pull the
Trigger 1. When the trigger is released the but-
ton will engage the safety switch automatically,
and the trigger will no longer operate.
Switch
(Fig. 1)
When starting the tool, hold it with both
hands. The torque from the motor can cause
the tool to twist.
