10. RF GAIN ADJUSTMENT

®@ Purpose:
Optimization of the RF signal's amplitude.
®@ Symptom when incorrectly adjusted : There is prominent dropout. Scan and search operations are unstable.
Adjusting procedure
1. Search for frame #15000 on the test disc.
2. Connect CN301-2 (RF) to the oscilloscope and look at
the RF signal.
3. Adjust
VR601
so
that
the
RF
signal's
amplitude
becomes 300mV +£50mV. (See Photo 1.)
