MICROWAVE
The fastest cooking method ever invented, microwave cooking lets you defrost foods quickly, prepare delicious stews,
savory casseroles, and vegetables that come out tender and colorful. It's also an ideal and easy way to reheat leftovers
that taste as though they were freshly prepared.
NOTE: 1) See cooking utensils section in your Panasonic Microwave Cookbook or page 23 of this manual.
2) Donotuse recycled paper products in the oven. They may contain impurities which could cause the paper to
create sparking (arcing), and this could result in a fire during oven operation.
3) Do not operate oven empty. The microwave energy will reflect continuously throughout the oven if no food or
water is present to absorb the energy.
AUTOMATIC DEFROST
Step 1. Touch Defrost pad.
—Clock time disappears. Defrost indicator light turns on.
Step 2. Set defrost time by tapping Time Select Pads.
— Defrost time appears in display window in minutes and seconds.
Note: Defrost power must always be selected with
Time and as the first stage in program
Step 3. Touch Start Pad.
— Oven light turns on: microwave defrosting begins.
Defrost indicator light begins to alternately blink and glow. Turntable begins to rotate.
Defrosting time counts down second by second.
~—When defrosting is completed, oven beeps five times and shuts off automatically. Turntable stops.
Defrost indicator light and oven light turn off.
Time of day appears in display window.
