• Taking pictures with closed folder
Taking a self-portrait, you can see your picture on the
sub-LCD.
1. Long press the camera side key.
2. Select Take picture using the volume side keys
followed by the camera side key to confirm it.
3. Choose the subject to acquire and press the camera
side key. The picture will be automatically saved in
the Photo album.
4. To exit the camera mode, long press the camera side
key.

Taking a self-portrait, you can't change the
camera settings (zoom, brightness, quality and
so on). The phone will automatically use the
latest camera settings. Also, you can't use the
Flash or use the Multi shot and the Frame shot
functions.
Long press the camera side key when the folder is
closed to open the following menu (use the volume
side keys to move between the options and confirm

the selections through the camera side key):
• MP3: Plays the music files in the phone. Check (Menu
6.5.1) for further details.
• Take picture: Enter the camera mode.
• Slide show: Display a slide show of all the pictures in
the photo album.
• Torch: Toggle the flash functionality.
• Back: Exits the menu.

VIDEO CAMERA

S5100 includes a video camera which can take every
kind of video at resolution of 176x144 or 128x96
pixel. Video duration depends on the available
memory. Videos are encoded in 3gp format.
To record a video, follow the instructions below:
1. Turn on the video camera (Menu 6.2)
2. Change the video camera settings according to
your needing, pressing the left softkey . The video
camera settings are mostly the same as camera
settings described in (Menu 6.1).
