2. Insert the battery cells (not supplied). Note the '+' and '-' markings inside the
battery compartment and insert in the correct direction.
3. Slide the battery cover back into place.
Note
You can either purchase non-rechargeble battery cells (2 x AAA batteries) or
rechargeable NIMH battery cells (2 x AAA batteries) for the parent unit.
Plug the DC plug of the power adaptor into the DC jack on the side of the parent
unit and plug the other end of the AC adaptor into the AC power outlet.
Note
The parent unit does not work as a charger and it never charges the cells installed.
