(9) Press the presser foot down icon and check the gap between bottom of presser foot and top of sliding
plate is 0 to 0.1 mm. If there is any collision sounds when down the presser foot, please readjust above.
If the gap more than 0.1 mm, please readjust too.
7-3. How to replace with a special presser foot
When replace the standard presser foot only at needed, it is necessary to change the ZNPP [Distance
from PF sensor edge to the top surface of needle plate] from default value. For example, to using a special
presser foot which length is 2 mm longer, change the value to [220] (22.0 mm) from default value [240]
(24.0 mm) as showing in the following figure. According to the following procedures change the ZNPP
value.
