Steering Lock
Lock the steering when parked to help
prevent theft.
A U-shaped wheel lock or similar device is
also recommended.

When using a U-shaped wheel lock or
similar device, be careful not to damage
the wheels.

Locking
a Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
b Turn the handlebars all the way to the
left or right.
c Turn the ignition switch
counterclockwise.

The steering lock indicator comes on
briefly and the steering is
automatically locked.
u
If the steering lock indicator blinks
and the alarm sounds, the steering
has not been locked completely
because the steering was not
positioned all the way to the left or
right.
If this occurs, reposition the
handlebars all the way to the left or
right, then turn the ignition switch
counterclockwise (The steering can
also be locked by positioning it all the
