INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do
not change the plug in any way.
1. Un-tie cord strap, extend cord and insert plug into 120-volt household electrical outlet to
power unit.
2. Unfold chair by placing it upright and balanced on the chair's back legs. Push the headrest and
armrest in opposite directions. until the chair fully opens, then place the chair's front legs on
the floor. See pages 8-9 for instructions on how to use the hand control.
3. Once your chair is set up, you may choose to recline by pulling up on both of the armrests at the
same time, and moving them backward. Then you can press down on the armrests lightly once
you have reached the desired reclined angle.
4. To return to a more upright position, pull up on both armrests again, and pull them forward.
Release the armrests when you've reached the desired angle and press down to ensure they set
correctly in place.
5. When you are finished with your massage, you may choose to fold your chair and safely store
it. In order to fold the chair, you will stand beside the chair, and place one hand on the strap
beneath the seat. Place the other hand behind the headrest of the chair. Tip the chair backward
in order to balance the weight of the chair on it's back legs. Pull up on the strap beneath the
seat and press the seat and the headrest toward each other. The chair will collapse into its
folded position.
Caution: To avoid pinching do not lean on the back massage mechanism in the cushion when
adjusting your body position.
Do not jam or force any part of your body in the moving massage mechanism.
Note: There is a 15-minute auto shut off on the unit for your safety.

TO STORE
Place massage chair in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid contact with sharp edges or
pointed objects which might cut or puncture the fabric surface. To avoid breakage, do not wrap the
power cord around the unit.
TO CLEAN
Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge.
Never allow water or any other liquids to come into contact with the unit.
• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass / furniture polish or paint
thinner to clean.
• Do not attempt to repair the Massage Cushion. There are no user serviceable parts. For service,
call the Consumer Relations telephone number listed in the warranty section.
Please note: Not recommended for use on wooden surfaces as the zipper may damage the
wood. Caution is also recommended when using on upholstered furniture.
NOTE: Only gentle force should be exerted against the unit in order to eliminate any/all risk of
injury. You may soften massage force by placing a towel between yourself and the unit.
