Connecting AC Power
To connect AC power to the device, do the following:
Electrocution hazard – risk of death, serious personal injury and/or damage to
the device
Make sure the supplied cover is always installed over high voltage screw-type
terminal blocks.
Electrical hazard – risk of damage to equipment
Do not connect AC power cables to a DC power supply terminal block. Damage to
the power supply may occur.
Note
The terminal block is installed using Philips screws and compression plates, allowing
either bare wire connections or crimped terminal lugs. Use #6 size ring tongues for
secure, reliable screws, which must be removed to make connections.

Using a Torx T10 screwdriver, hand-tighten the screws on the power supply
module to secure it to the chassis.
Connect an appropriate power source to the terminals on the associated power
input terminal block.
For more information, refer to either "Connecting AC Power" (Page 27) or
"Connecting DC Power" (Page 28).
Power on the device.
Check the I and O LEDs on the module. If both LEDs are green, the power supply
module is receiving and distributing power.

NOTICE
Connect the positive wire from the power source to the live terminal on the
terminal block.
