3.24. Stopwatch

The stopwatch is a display that can be turned on or off from the start menu.
To activate the stopwatch:
1. Press [START] to enter the start menu.
2. Scroll to DISPLAYS with [LIGHT] and press [NEXT] .
3. Scroll to Stopwatch with [LIGHT] and press [NEXT] .
When activated, the timer can be accessed by pressing [NEXT] until the timer appears.

NOTE: The stopwatch is not visible while recording an activity.
To use the stopwatch:
1. In the activated stopwatch display, press [START] to start measuring time.
2. Press [BACK LAP] to make a lap, or press [START] to pause the stopwatch. To view the lap
times, press [BACK LAP] when the stopwatch is paused.
3. Press [START] to continue.
4. To reset the time, keep [START] pressed when the stopwatch is paused.
While the stopwatch is running, you can:
press [VIEW] to switch between the time and lap time shown on the bottom row of the
display.
switch to Time display with [NEXT] .
enter the options menu by keeping [NEXT] pressed.
If you no longer want to see the stopwatch display, deactivate the stopwatch.
To hide the stopwatch:
1. Press [START] to enter the start menu.
2. Scroll to DISPLAYS with [LIGHT] and press [NEXT] .
3. Scroll to End stopwatch with [LIGHT] and press [NEXT] .

3.25. Sunrise and sunset alerts

In addition to the sunrise and sunset times you can view in different displays in Traverse
Alpha, you can set specific sunrise and sunset alerts to help time your activities on your
expeditions. You can set an alarm for the sunrise and sunset alerts separately in the options
menu under General » Alerts. Turn each alarm on/off and set how many minutes before the
event that the alarm should sound.
