Cleaning and care
Cleaning the interior and
accessories
Clean the appliance regularly (approx.
twice a year). Remove any soiling
immediately - do not allow it to dry on.
The best time to do so is when:
– there is very little or no frozen food
left in the freezer,
– the humidity level in the room is low
and the ambient temperature in the
room is also low.
 Clean the interior with a clean
sponge, lukewarm water and a little
washing-up liquid.
 After cleaning, wipe with clean water
and dry with a soft cloth.
 Leave the door open to air the
appliance for a short while and to
prevent odours building up.
The following parts cannot be cleaned
in a dishwasher:
– all drawers and the compartment lid
(depending on model)
– the glass plates with trim
– the cool pack
 These accessories should all be hand
washed.

Cleaning the front of the
appliance and the side panels
If soiling is left on for any length of
time, it may become impossible to
remove.
Surfaces may suffer discolouration or
damage.
Therefore, it is best to remove soiling
from the appliance front and side
panels immediately.
All surfaces are susceptible to
scratching. Contact with unsuitable
cleaning agents can alter or
discolour the surfaces. Scratches on
glass fronts can lead to breakage in
some circumstances.
See the information on "Cleaning
agents" at the beginning of this
section.
Risk of damage as a result of
incorrect cleaning.
The glass front can alter or discolour
if you spot-clean it or remove soiling
when it is dry.
Wipe the entire surface of the glass
front with a wet cloth.
Using a glass-cleaning agent
containing additives, e.g. citrus or
similar, would cause streaking on the
entire surface.
Use a glass-cleaning agent which
contains a little alcohol but no citrus
or similar additives.
 Clean the entire outer surface with a
clean, fluff-free microfibre cloth, a
dash of washing-up liquid and plenty
of hot water.
