Chapter 5. Locations

This chapter introduces the locations of the hardware components on your computer.

Connectors and indicators

Note: The connectors and indicators shown with an asterisk (*) are available on some models.

Power button: Press the power button to turn on your computer. You also can use the power button to
put the computer to sleep and wake it.

Emergency-reset hole: If your computer stops responding, remove the ac power adapter first, and then
insert a straightened paper clip into the emergency-reset hole to reset the computer.
