• Stop cooking by turning the SELECTOR knob to

the "0" position.
! The first time you use your appliance, heat the
empty oven with its door closed at its maximum
temperature for at least half an hour. Ensure that the
room is well ventilated before switching the oven off
and opening the oven door. The appliance may emit
a slightly unpleasant odour caused by protective
substances used during the manufacturing process
burning away.
! Before operating the product, remove all plastic film
from the sides of the appliance.
Starting the oven
1. Select the desired cooking mode by turning the
SELECTOR knob.
2. Select the recommended temperature for the
cooking mode or the desired temperature by turning
the THERMOSTAT knob.
A list detailing cooking modes and suggested
cooking temperatures can be found in the relevant
table ( see Oven cooking advice table ).
During cooking it is always possible to:
• Change the cooking mode by turning the
SELECTOR knob.
• Change the temperature by turning the
THERMOSTAT knob.
• Set the total cooking time and the cooking end
time ( see below ).
• Stop cooking by turning the SELECTOR knob to
the "0" position.
! Never put objects directly on the bottom of the
oven; this will avoid the enamel coating being
damaged. Only use position 1 in the oven when
cooking with the rotisserie spit.
! Always place cookware on the rack(s) provided.
THERMOSTAT warning lamp
When it is on, it indicates that the oven creates heat.
When the temperature inside the oven reaches an
optimal level, it will turn off. Then, the warning lamp
starts flashing in order to indicate that the thermostat
is operating and that a constant level of heat is
maintained at all times.
Oven lamp
The oven lamp goes on when PROGRAM button is
set to any other position than "0" and it stays off until
the oven starts operating.

Cooking programs
This button is used in order to select an optimal
level of heat for the food to be cooked and to
select various functions of the oven. Moreover,
when this button is set to
clockwise, you can turn on the oven lamp without
operating the oven. If you keep turning this button
clockwise, you can select following heat levels
suitable for the food that you want to cook: In order
to do this, align the selected temperature level with
the reference line on the control panel. The
temperature level corresponding to the reference
line on the control panel is set.

Your selected temperature level is maintained
during the cooking period by means of the
thermostat. Oven warning lamp indicates that the
oven is operating and stays on during the cooking
period.
Defrosting
The fan, located behind the oven, circulates an
adequate amount of air at the room temperature
around the food. By using this program, you
can defrost various food types and especially
some delicate food types which must not be
warmed such as ice cream, cream and fruit
cakes. Defrosting period should be half of the
normally suggested period. In order to use
frozen meat, fish or bread as quick as possible,
you can set the temperature to 80°-100°C and
defrost.

When the button is set to this position, the lamp on
the oven goes on and yogurt preparation function is
enabled. This function is especially suitable for
yogurt preparation.
