Note: Remove the film that covers the thermal pad (if any) when installing the M.2 solid-state drive and the
heat sink.
Heat sink assembly
Prerequisite
Before you start, read Generic Safety and Compliance Notices, and print the following instructions.
The heat sink might be very hot. Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several
minutes until the computer is cool.
For access, remove the following parts in order:
• "Computer cover" on page 15
• "Front bezel" on page 15
• "Storage drive bracket" on page 18
