Recording TV programmes
You can record TV programmes from
your TV by connecting the TV to the
unit's LINE-1 IN jacks.
Before you start...
• Connect the LINE-1 IN jacks of the
unit to the audio/video output jacks
of your TV (see "Additional
connection" on page 7).
• Set CONNECT L1 to TV in the SET UP
MENU (see page 7).

To stop recording
Press p STOP.

Basic Operations
Turn on your TV and select the programme position you want to
record on your TV.
Insert a tape with its safety tab in place.
Press INPUT SELECT to display
"L1" in the display window.
Press TAPE SPEED to select the
tape speed, SP or LP.
LP provides recording time
twice as long as SP, however, SP
produces better picture and
audio quality.
Press r REC to start recording.
