Install the M.2 storage devices into the onboard M.2 slots (A), then secure the M.2
storage devices with the bundled screws (B).
•
Hyper M.2_1 slot and Hyper M.2_2 can support up to PCIe 4.0 x4 mode.
•
When ROG Hyper M.2 card is installed on PCIEX16(G5) or PCIEX16(G3), Hyper
M.2_2 slot will be disabled.

Peel the plastic films off the thermal pads (A), secure the cover to the ROG HYPER
M.2 card with the cover screws that you removed earlier (B), then install the ROG
HYPER M.2 card into a PCIe slot (C).
•
When the ROG Hyper M.2 card is installed on PCIEX16(G5), it supports PCIe 4.0 x4
mode on Hyper M.2_1 only, and Hyper M.2_2 will be disabled.
•
When Hyper M.2 card is installed on PCIEX16(G3), it supports PCIe 3.0 x4 mode on
M.2_1 only, and Hyper M.2_2 will be disabled.
•
When ROG Hyper M.2 card is installed on PCIEX16(G4), it supports PCIe 4.0 x4
mode on both Hyper M.2_1 & Hyper M.2_2.
