Solution

Make sure the battery is charged and installed correctly
■
Turn the camera off, then on again.
■
Transfer all pictures to the computer
■
Take another picture. If the problem continues, change the image
storage location to internal memory. (See the "Using the menu to
change settings" table starting on

Continue taking pictures. The camera is operating normally.
(The camera estimates the number of pictures remaining after each
picture is taken, based on picture size and content.)
■
Set the Orientation Sensor to ON. (See the "Customizing your
camera" table starting on

Check the flash setting, and change as needed
NOTE: The flash does not fire in all modes.

Transfer the pictures to the computer

Delete pictures from the card or insert a new card.
