Connect the power cord

Make sure the V1100 is turned off.

Charge the battery

Power LED
ON=flashing

Battery LED
With the V1100 still turned off, allow the battery to fully charge the
first time for up to 2.5 hours maximum. The battery LED turns off
when the battery is fully charged.
Caution: Failure to fully charge the battery before using the V1100
may adversely impact the battery's overall life.

Turn the V1100 on
Turn the V1100 on by pressing the ON/OFF button. When the
V1100 is plugged into an AC power outlet, the battery charges as
you use the V1100. For more information, see the Battery Power
and Management section and Connecting the Battery section in
the user guide.
The first time you use the V1100, the screen guides you through
the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition setup.

folder on your computer's hard drive, then to the UG folder for the
User Guide PDF file.
