Support for Using Color Network ScanGear 2 via Sub Line
Previously you could only use "Color Network ScanGear 2" on the main line, but now you can use it on a sub line also.

Support for WPA3 Security Type via Wireless LAN Connection
The wireless LAN function of this machine can now support WPA3-SAE (AES-CCMP) and WPA3-EAP (AES-CCMP).
● Depending on when you purchased "Connection Kit for Bluetooth LE" installed on the machine, you may not
be able to use WPA-3-SAE/WPA3-EAP.
Security settings
● If the wireless connection is set up by selecting a wireless router, WPA3-SAE encryption method is set to
<Auto> (AES-CCMP or TKIP). If you want to select <AES-CCMP> for WPA3-SAE encryption, set up the
connection in <Enter Manually>.
Settings(P. 22)
● If the security standard for your wireless LAN router is WPA3-EAP, the encryption method is set to AES-CCMP.
Also, specify the IEEE 802.1X authentication settings for the machine before connecting to the wireless LAN.
When Setting Up a Connection by Selecting a WPA3 Compatible Wireless Router
You can search the wireless routers available for connection and select one from the display of the machine. If
the security standard for your wireless LAN router is WPA3-SAE, enter the encryption key for the network key.
Confirm and write down in advance information regarding your SSID, network key, security standard, or
authentication/encryption method, etc.

● The machine starts searching for available wireless routers.
