Notes
• When editing from VHS tape to 8 mm tape, note the following:
- If editing is proceeding with a VHS tape that you have recorded, the tape may be
automatically ejected. In this case, check the safety tab. If the tab is removed,
cover the tab hole with adhesive tape and after recording, remove the tape to
protect the recording. Make sure of the direction for recording so that you won't
accidentally erase an important recording.
- If the safety switch on the 8 mm tape to be used as an original tape is slid out so
that the red portion is visible, the tape is automatically ejected. In this case, slide
the switch back in place so that the red portion is not visible. Make sure of the
direction for recording.
• Noise may appear at the beginning part of the edited tape.
• If the playback deck play blank for 5 minutes, both decks automatically stop,
rewind tapes to the beginning, and eject them. And then, the power turns off
automatically.
