GPRS
(General Packet Radio Service)
GPRS is a new method for transmit-
ting data faster in the mobile net-
work. Symbols in the display,
see page 6.
GPRS info
Display connection information.
IrDA
Your phone has an infrared inter-
face. The distance between the two
devices must not exceed 30 cm. The
infrared windows in both appliances
must be aligned as accurately as pos-
sible with each other. Symbols in the
display, see page 6.
Data services
Default setting and activation of the
connection profiles for the applica-
tions
MMS,
WAP. The phone default
setting varies from service provider

any data necessary from the service

Activate or deactivate encrypted
WAP dial-up (CSD connections only).
Fax/data
Send voice/fax
Set this function on the phone before
transmission so that you can switch
from voice mode to fax mode.
Rec. voice/fax
Start the required communication
program on your PC and select the
function on the phone during the
call (the PC will take over the
connection).
Rec. fax/data
The call is signalled by a special ring-
tone and the type of call (fax or data)
is displayed. Now start the commu-
nication program in your PC to re-
ceive the fax/data.
