Making the Connections
* To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off the power on all devices before
making any connections.
* When connection cables with resistors are used, the volume level of equipment connected to the INPUT jacks may be low. If this happens, use
connection cables that do not contain resistors.
[ON] switch
CAUTION
This turns the unit on/off.
When the unit is turned on, the indicator
will light in orange.
After approximately 30 minutes have
passed without any signal being input,
the indicator will light in green, and the
unit will enter standby mode.
The unit will return to the ordinary
mode if audio is once again received
from the equipment you have
connected, or you once again turn the
unit on using the [ON] switch.
* If you need to turn off the power
completely, first turn off the [ON]
switch, then unplug the power cord
from the power outlet. Refer to Power
Supply (p. 2).
[VOLUME] knob
Adjusts the volume of the sound from
the device connected to the INPUT
jacks.
[WOOFER] knob
Adjusts the volume of the sound from
the woofer (bass range), which is one
portion of the overall sound.
The sound from the woofer is emitted from here.
INPUT (Stereo) jack
Here's where you can connect a drum sound module, using
a commercially available cable that has a stereo mini plug.
* The sound may distort if you raise the volume too much. If
you run into this problem, lower the volume on the device
that you have connected.
Example
Front
INPUT (R, L/MONO) jacks
Here's where you can connect a unit from the Roland
V-Drums TD series or an electronic musical instrument,
using commercially available cables that have 1/4" phone
plugs.
* When connecting a monaural device, connect to the
INPUT L/MONO jack.
* The INPUT (Stereo) jack and the
INPUT (R, L/MONO) jacks can be
used at the same time.
Rear
AC IN connector
Connect the supplied power cord
here.
Connect it securely, so it won't get
