EVERY 500 SERVICE HOURS

BReplacing fuel filter cartridge
1. Replace the fuel filter cartridge with a new one every
500 operating hours.
2. Apply fuel oil thinly over the gasket and tighten the
cartridge into position by hand-tightening only.
3. Finally, vent the air.
A Replace the fuel filter cartridge periodically to prevent
wear of the supply pump or the injector, due to dirt in
the fuel.
A When using biodiesel fuel, change the fuel filter
cartridge with new one at half intervals (250 hours).
A The fuel filter cartridge and water separator should be
replaced earlier according to the fuel classification in
use.
BReplacing oil filter cartridge

To avoid personal injury or death:
A Be sure to stop the engine before
changing the oil filter cartridge.
A Allow engine
sufficiently, oil can be hot and cause
burns.
1. Replace the oil filter cartridge. Oil filter cartridge
should be replaced after the initial 50 hours of
operation and every 500 hours thereafter.
2. Remove the old oil filter cartridge with a filter wrench.
3. Apply a film of oil to the gasket for the new cartridge.
4. Screw in the cartridge by hand. When the gasket
contacts the seal surface, tighten the cartridge enough
by hand. Because, if you tighten the cartridge with a
wrench, it will be tightened too much.

(2) Remove with a filter wrench (Tighten with your hand)
5. After the new cartridge has been replaced, the engine
oil level normally decreases a little. Thus, run the
engine for a while and check for oil leaks through the
seal before checking the engine oil level. Add oil if
necessary.
A Wipe off any oil sticking to the machine completely.
