Record dates of monthly and yearly inspections.
FAN CASE GRID
Fan case grid should be cleaned every day. Clogged
grid will cause engine to overheat.
WARNING
• TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO KEEP HAIR FROM
BEING DRAWN INTO FAN.
• DO NOT PLACE HAND BETWEEN ENGINE AND
BACKPACK HOUSING WHILE ENGINE IS IN
OPERATION. INJURY COULD OCCUR. BE SURE
THE ENGINE IS FULLY STOPPED BEFORE
INSERTING HANDS TO REMOVE ANY DEBRIS. IF
AVAILABLE, USE A UTENSIL TO REMOVE THE
DEBRIS.
Remove all dirt, Ieaves, and other debris from fan case
grid. Care should be taken not to let foreign objects
enter fan case through grid. It surely cause damage to
fan and fan case.
