Turn the Keylock to the unlocked position. b. Pull the top edge of the Bezel away from the chassis and remove the cover. 30629 3.

Lay the Top Cover on a flat work surface upside down. 2. Attach the Right and Left Cabinet Extensions (4 screws each @ 8 lbf). There is one screw hole on each side with close tolerances.

Clean the plastic surfaces with isopropyl alcohol before adhering the rubber bumpers. 24619 5. Position the Tray Support Bracket on top of the terminal and secure it with screws (4 @ 8 lbf).

Inserting one end of the handle into one of the slots on the Electronics Sled Chassis. b. Spread the other end of the handle out and insert it into the other slot. 1.

    Keyboard installation varies, depending on which keyboard you are using. See the following options. • NCR 5932-5xxx USB Alphanumeric Big Ticket Keyboard a. Install the keyboard in the Integration Tray. b. Route the cable as shown.

Install the Keyboard Tray Insert, if applicable. Note: There are two Keyboard Tray Inserts in the kit. The narrow tray is used in all cases except when using the 5932-65xx PS/2 model without an MSR.
  • Page 15 RealPOS 82XRT Integration Tray Kit Instructions Installing the Transaction Printer The NCR 7167, 7168, 7197, or 7198 printer can be located on either side of the Integration Tray. Note: The Printer Cable Strain Relief is different on the Release 1.0 and the Series II printers.

    RealPOS 82XRT Integration Tray Kit Instructions Printer Cable Connections The printers can connect through a USB connector or an RS-232 connector. It receives power through a Powered USB power cable. USB Installation Connect the Powered USB Printer Interface Cable to the USB Connector and Power Connector on the printer and to the 24 V Powered USB Connector on the terminal.

Connect the RS-232 Printer Interface Cable to the RS-232 Connector on the printer and to an RS-232 Connector on the terminal. 2. Connect the Printer Power Cable to the Power Connector on the printer and to the 24 V Powered USB Connector on the terminal.
  • Page 20 RealPOS 82XRT Integration Tray Kit Instructions Installing the Operator Display The NCR 5964, 5954, and 5942 use the same mount. Since the installation procedures are nearly identical, only the 5954 is discussed in this section. The primary differences are with cable connections.
