General recommendations
Make sure to read and understand the safety, installation and operating instructions before you
operate the display.
Keep these Instructions for Use available for future reference.
Adhere to all cautions on the display and in these Instructions for Use.
Follow all instructions for installation, operation and use as stated in these Instructions for Use.
Electrical shock or fire hazard
To prevent electric shock or fire hazard, do not remove covers unless expressly instructed.
No serviceable parts inside. Please contact Philips for servicing.
Do not expose the display to rain or moisture.
Modifications
Do not modify the display.
Type of protection (electrical)
Display with internal power supply: Class I equipment.
Degree of safety (flammable anesthetic mixture)
The display is not suitable for use in the presence of a flammable anesthetic mixture with air or
with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
Non-patient care equipment
• The display is primarily for use in a health care facility that is intended for use outside the
patient area (e.g. laboratories).
• The display may not be used with life support equipment.
Power connection – Equipment with internal power supply
• The display must be earthed
• Power requirements: The display must be powered by the AC mains voltage.
• The display is intended for continuous operation.
