Access networks

Your computer helps you connect to the world through a wired or wireless network.
To identify the interfaces available, use the i i p p a a command. For example:

Connect to the wired Ethernet

Connect your computer to a local network through the Ethernet connector on your computer with an
Ethernet cable.
The installer will configure the interface to use DHCP by default. If you want to configure a static IP, use the
following commands.
$ sudo nmcli con down <connection name>
$ sudo nmcli con mod <connection name> ipv4.addresses
$ sudo nmcli con mod <connection name> ipv4.gateway
<xx.xx.xx.xx>/24
<xx.xx.xx.xx>
