17. Precautions when handling and installing the condensing unit

(a) Strictly follow the specifi cations for the ranges of steam temperature, condensation temperature,
operating outside air temperature, and so on as listed in this instruction manual.
(b) Do not use any other refrigerants except the designated one.
(c) Do not modify the condensing unit.
(d) Use the protective equipment included with the condensing unit.
(e) Do not use non-specifi ed power voltages.
(f)
Do not use generic inverters.
(g) Do not use the condensing unit in a chemical exposure environment or other special environment.
(h) Ensure that the condensing unit does not go into short cycle operation. (A short cycle is any
operation lasting three minutes or less between starting and stopping, or repeated starts and stops
performed six times or more within one hour.)
(i)
Make sure that the refrigerant is not excessive, insuffi cient or leaking.
(j)
Stop using the product when the following symptoms appear and contact your sales representative
or installer.
• When the product is damaged
• When the vibration of the product is large
• When the product generates strange operating noises
(k) Do not operate the product in vacuum.
(l)
Do not use the product on a vehicle or ship etc.
(m) Do not carry out installation work or do not use the product in a manner that deviates from common
knowledge of condensing unit installation, operation, and maintenance.
