Answering a Call

When somebody calls you, the phone rings and the
phone icon is displayed in the middle of the display.
If the caller can be identified, the caller's phone
number (or name if available in your phonebook) is
displayed.
1. To answer a call, press
If the Call Answermenu (MENU 0-2) is set to Any
Key, you can answer a call only by pressing any key

• You can answer a call while using the phonebook or
menu functions. The current operation will be
interrupted.
• If you cannot answer an incoming call, you can set
the phone to answer the call by a greeting message
and record the caller's message. For further

Options During a Call

Your phone provides a number of functions that you can
use during a call. As many of these options are network
services, you may not be able to use all of them at all
times.
Press
during a call to access the following options:
Phone Book: allows you to access the Phone Book
menu.
Mute/Quit: allows you to switch your phone's
microphone off, so that the other party cannot hear you.
Example: You wish to say something to another person
in the room but do not want the other party to hear you.
Silent/Quit: does not transmit the key tones. It allows
you to press keys without hearing annoying key tones
during a call.
Send Tel #: sends the telephone number to the other
caller.
Calls: allows you to access the Calls menu.
Messages: allows you to access the Messages menu.
Planner: allows you to access the Planner menu.
