CONTROLS
Warning
A cargo cover that snaps back quickly can jam
body parts or cause damage. There is a risk of
injury or risk of damage to property. Do not let
the cargo cover snap back into place.
Warning
An incorrectly inserted cargo cover can be
thrown about the car's interior, such as in the
event of an accident or a braking or evasive ma‐
neuver. There is a risk of injury and risk of dam‐
age to property. Make sure the cargo cover is
securely engaged in the brackets.
Cargo cover behind the second
row of seats
Remove from the storage under the
cargo floor panel
1.
Remove side covers.
Side covers, refer to page 332.
2.
Fold up the cargo floor panel.
3.
Raise the cargo cover slightly.
4.
Slide the cargo cover as far to the right as
possible.
5.
Raise the left cargo cover and guide it past
the trim panel.
Inserting the roller cover for luggage
compartment
1.
Fold the rear seat backrest of the third row of
seats forward.
Fold the rear seat backrest forward, refer to
page 125.
2.
If necessary, remove the cargo cover behind
the third row of seats.
3.
Closing the lower tailgate.

Remove covers from brackets.
5.
Remove the cargo cover from the recess un‐
der the cargo floor panel.
6.
Insert the cargo cover into the brackets from
the top, arrows.
Make sure that the cargo cover is positioned
correctly in the brackets and that the clasps
click into the locked position.
The cargo cover was inserted correctly when a
green color code is visible on the release but‐
tons. If a green color coding is not visible, pro‐
ceed as follows:
Remove the cargo cover and insert it again.
Push the release button back until the green
color coding is visible.
