Movie w/ shutter
You can start or stop recording movies by pressing the shutter button, which is bigger and easier to press than the
MOVIE (Movie) button.
MENU → (Camera Settings2) → [Movie w/ shutter] → desired setting.

Menu item details
On:
Enables movie recording using the shutter button when the shooting mode is set to [Movie] or [S&Q Motion].
Off:
Disables movie recording using the shutter button.
Hint
When [Movie w/ shutter] is set to [On], you can still start or stop recording movies using the MOVIE button.
When [Movie w/ shutter] is set to [On], you can use the shutter button to start or stop recording movies on an external recorder
using [ REC Control].
Note
When [Movie w/ shutter] is set to [On], you cannot focus by pressing the shutter button halfway down during movie recording.
