Unit Identifier Switch/UID LED Indicator

A Unit Identifier (UID) switch and an LED
Indicator are located on the motherboard.
The rear UID switch is located next to LAN3/
LAN4 on the I/O backpanel. The front UID
switch is located on Pin 13 on the Front
Panel Control (JF1). The rear UID LED (LE1)
is located next to the UID switch and the
front UID LED is located on Pins 7 on JF1.
When you press the UID switch, the UID
LED will be turned on. Press the UID switch
again to turn off the LED indicator. The UID
Indicator provides easy identification of a
system unit that may be in need of service.
Note: UID can also be triggered via
IPMI on the motherboard. For more
