KITCHENAID WARRANTY TERMS
(HEREINAFTER: "THE WARRANTY")
KitchenAid Europa Inc., whose address is Nijverheidslaan 3, Box 5, 1853 Strombeek-Bever, Belgium (hereinafter: "the Warranty
Provider") provides its end-users, the consumers, a Warranty according to the following terms.
The Warranty applies in addition to the warranty entitlements provided by law to the end users by the sellers/importers of the
product. It neither limits them or affects them in any way. These entitlements are detailed in the Warranty Letters provided to the
customer by the importer.
1) Warranty Scope and Terms
a) The Company providing The Warranty warrants the products specified in 1.b), which the Consumer purchased from a
Distributor or Company from the KitchenAid Group in countries belonging to the European Economic Zone, Israel,
Moldova, Montenegro, Switzerland or Turkey.
b) The Warranty Period depends on the Product purchased, as follows:
5KSM125 - 5KSM200 Five years full guarantee from date of purchase.
5K45, 5KSM45 Two years full guarantee from date of purchase.
c) The Warranty Period begins on the Date of Purchase, meaning on the date the Consumer purchases the Product from the
Supplier or from the Company of the KitchenAid Group.
d) The Warranty covers defect-free Products.
e) Should the Product become defective within the Warranty Period, the Supplying Company may provide the Consumer
the following services at its discretion:
- Repair the Defective Product or Part, or
- Replace the Defective Product or Part. Should the relevant Product no longer be available for sale, the Company providing
the Warranty may replace it with an equivalent Product or with a Product of greater value than the original Product.
f) Consumers seeking to file a claim under the Warranty are required to contact the KitchenAid service centers in the relevant
country or to contact KitchenAid directly at KitchenAid Europa, Inc Nijverheidslaan 3, Box 5, 1853 Strombeek-Bever, Belgium

g) The Company providing the Warranty shall bear the costs of the repair, including the costs of spare parts, and the costs
of shipping a defect-free Product or Part to the Consumer. The Company providing the Warranty shall also bear the costs of
shipping to return the defective Product or Part to the Company, if the Company or KitchenAid Customer Contact Centre
representatives in the relevant country will request the Consumer to send them. However, the Consumer shall bear the costs
of packing for shipment of the defective abovementioned Product or Part.
h) In order for the Consumer to file a coverage claim under the Warranty, they shall present a Product purchase receipt or
invoice.
2) Warranty Limitations
a) The Warranty is valid only for Products which have been operated for private use. It does not cover products which have
been used for professional or commercial purposes.
b) The Warranty does not cover cases of normal wear and tear and it is invalid in cases of wrong use or use which is harmful to
the Product, operating the Product contrary to the Instructions for Use, connecting the Product to a power source not suitable
for its operation, assembly and operation of the Product contrary to the relevant regulations for electricity use and use of
force (for example, striking the Product).
c) The Warranty is not valid if the Product has been altered or converted in any way, for example alteration of a Product, which
is designed for use on a 120 Volts grid for use on a 220-240 Volts grid.
d) In the event that the Consumer receives service for the Product under the Warranty, the Warranty Period given for the said
Product does not get extended, and no new Warranty Period begins after the Service. The Warranty Period on spare parts
which come with the Product expires when the Warranty Period given for the entire Product expires.
The End Customers are welcome to contact the KitchenAid service centers with any questions or if they would like to obtain
information regarding the Product. This applies also after the Warranty has expired and also for Products which are not
covered by a Warranty. For further information, please visit our website:
