FILTER REPLACEMENT

WARNING: To avoid serious injury from electrical shock, ALWAYS
turn the Air Purifier OFF and unplug it BEFORE filter replacement.
Note: The Filter Replacement
Indicator lamp [
when it is time to replace the
HEPA Filter. Under conditions of
normal use (12 hours a day), this
will occur approximately once a
year for the HEPA filter. The filter
may need to be changed more
often with continuous operation
or use in smoky or dusty
environments. See Replacement
Filters Table for item and purchase
information.
1. Turn the Air Purifier OFF and unplug from outlet.
2. Place the unit on its front on a hard flat surface with the back cover
panel facing up. To remove panel grasp recessed grip at panel top
and pull up.
3. Remove the washable pre-filter by depressing the two top clips
attaching it to the unit body. Remove the carbon filter and HEPA
filter from the unit.
4. Wipe the washable pre-filter with a sponge soaked in detergent and
rinse beneath slowly running faucet. Do not apply excessive force to
the pre-filter net because the net may become deformed.
5. With a dry soft cloth, carefully wipe visible dust from the exposed
fan housing chamber.
6. Install a new HEPA filter and Carbon filter. Install in orientation and
direction as indicated on filter.
Note: Do not try to wash and reuse either a HEPA or Carbon Filter.
7. Make sure that the washable pre-filter is completely dry prior to
reinstalling it. Insert the bottom tabs into the two bottom slots in unit
body. Push the two top clips back into the clip slots.
