Remove the I/O-board cable from the routing guides on the fan.

Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.

In sequential order (as indicated on the heat-sink assembly), loosen the four
captive screws that secure the heat-sink assembly to the system board.

In sequential order (as indicated on the heat-sink assembly), remove the three
screws (M2x3) that secure the heat-sink assembly to the system board.
6
Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the heat-sink assembly
to the system board.
