7. Remove the oil filter element and the O-rings.

8. Install a new oil filter element and new O-
rings.
TIP
Make sure that the O-rings are properly seated.
9. Install the oil filter element cover by installing
the bolts, and then tighten them to the speci-
fied torque.
Tightening torque:
Oil filter element cover bolt:
10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7.4 lb·ft)
