How do I update the CDDB database?
Quarterly updates of the CDDB database will be available at
http://www.philips.com/support
website. Simply download it and burn a CD-ROM; insert this CD-ROM into Music Center, and it will
automatically launch the update process. CDDB can also be updated via the supplied Ethernet cable if the
Center is connected to a PC with Broadband access.
What is Philips Digital Media Manager (DMM)?
Philips Digital Media Manager is a software interface between your PC and the Music Center. This
software aims to provide a one-stop program to help you manage and organize your digital music content
e.g. create playlist, rename tracks and playlist contents, CDDB update, digital music transfer from PC to
Music Center etc.
Do I need to have already an existing home network?
No, you do not need a home network to enjoy most of the features available on WACS700, your Music
Center & Station.
What happens if there is interference in my environment?
Interference affects the wireless signal and hence performance of the WACS700, as it would on any other
wireless networking devices. In such cases, the performance may be adversely affected. You should
attempt to minimize interference in your network environment as much as possible.

Is the Music Center upgradeable?
Yes, both the Music Center's firmware and software can be upgradeable either via Ethernet connection to
the PC or through CD-Rom in the slot loader. New customers are requested to register with
