How should I wash the vehicle?
Avoid washing the vehicle in an automatic car wash
during the first few months (because the paint will
not have hardened sufficiently).
Use a suitable car washing liquid and a clean
sponge when hand-washing the vehicle. dirt or grit
on the sponge can scratch the paint.
How should I care for leather uphol-
stery?
Leather requires regular care to remain smooth
and soft. Volvo leather care products, available from
your retailer, should preferably be used several
times a year.
How does Engine Remote Start* (ERS)
work?
Maximum range: approx. 100 ft (30 meters). the
vehicle must be locked. to start the engine:
Press button 1 briefly.
immediately press button 2 for approximately
2 seconds.
the following will occur:
the turn signals will flash several times.
the engine will start.
the turn signals will illuminate for 3 seconds
to indicate that the engine has started.
