INSTALLING YOUR
SET
DO NOT:

Place
your TV set in a room where
direct
lighting strikes the
screen.
a
Place
your
TV set
too close to
a
wall,
in
a
confined
area
or in
a
very warm
location.

the plug's
safety
prong.

below.
DO:
a
Use
soft and indirect lighting.
o
Sit at least
6
feet away
from the
set.
a
Provide normal
air
circulation for
reliable long
life.
o
Plug
into an
electrical
outlet
with
standard house power.

CONNECTION
lf
your local broadcast signals are strong, an
indoor antenna may obtain
a
clear picture.
lf you cannot get a clear picture
with your indoor
antenna,
you may
need
to
use
an
outdoor antenna.
Cable
TV
reception is possible only by connecting
a
cable supplied by
your local
cable operator.
There
are
two
types of antenna cable
lead-ins
:
Optional F-type
connector
300 ohm
twin-lead
cable
(flat)
75
ohm coaxial cable (round)
Note
:
As a safety feature, this Plug
has
one prong wider than
the other. lt
will
fit
only one
way into
a
standard
electrical
outlet. lf the plug
will
not
fit
into the outlet, trY turning
it
around. lf the plug
will
not
fit
either
way,
the outlet is
ProbablY
old and
nonstandard. You
will
need
to
have
a new
outlet installed by
an
electri-
cia n.
