Country-specific information

Vehicles with DRIVE PILOT are not approved in all
countries or regions outside Europe. Please note
that driving vehicles with the DRIVE PILOT equip-
ment is not legally permitted in these countries or
regions. This applies even if the DRIVE PILOT func-
tion is deactivated when the vehicle is in use.
Please also observe the current laws of the coun-
try or region in which you are located.

Operate your vehicle in an environmentally
responsible manner to help protect the envi-
ronment. Please observe the following recom-
mendations on operating conditions and per-
sonal driving style.
Operating conditions:
Make sure that the tyre pressure is cor-

rect.
Do not carry any unnecessary weight

(e.g. roof luggage racks once you no lon-
ger need them).
Monitor energy consumption.

Adhere to the service intervals.
#
A regularly serviced vehicle will contrib-
ute to environmental protection.
Always have maintenance work carried

out at a qualified specialist workshop.
Personal driving style:
Drive carefully and maintain a suitable

distance from the vehicle in front.
Avoid frequent, sudden acceleration and

braking.

pollution caused by irresponsible disposal
of the high-voltage battery
A high-voltage battery contains materials
which are harmful to the environment.
Dispose of faulty high-voltage batteries

at a qualified specialist workshop.

Take-back of end-of-life vehicles

EU countries only:
Mercedes-Benz will take back your end-of-life
vehicle for environment-friendly disposal in
accordance with the European Union (EU) End-Of-
Life Vehicles Directive.
A network of vehicle take-back points and dis-
mantlers has been established for you to return
your vehicle. You can leave it at any of these
points free of charge. This makes an important
