Notes on the driver's display

display fails
If the driver display has failed or is malfunc-
tioning, function restrictions in systems rele-
vant to safety cannot be detected.
The operating safety of your vehicle may be
impaired.
Drive on carefully.

park the vehicle immediately and safely. Contact a
qualified specialist workshop.
The driver's display shows the following basic
information:
Speed and power meter level

Range according to average consumption, per-

sonal driving style or high-consumption driving
style
State of charge of the high-voltage battery
R
Indicator and warning lamps
R
Additional functions available include the follow-
ing:
Different menus, e.g. for assistance and navi-
R
gation
Status displays for the driving systems
R
Display messages
R
Some menu content and settings can be custom-
ised (
page 443).

Notes on the range
The range in general
All ranges shown are assumptions based on

various calculation bases. The actual range
achieved may differ from the range displayed.
Outside temperatures, climate control set-
R
tings, vehicle interior temperatures, road con-
ditions, driving style etc. directly influence the
achievable range.
Pay attention to the charging prompts at all
R
times.

Range according to personal driving style
Your previous personal consumption will be
R
taken into account when the range is being
calculated.
While the navigation system or commuter
R
route is active, additional information about
the route ahead can be included in the range
calculation.
Range with low consumption
The maximum range shows the potential range
R
when consumption is low, e.g. as a result of
economical driving or having the air condition-
ing system turned off.
Range with high consumption
The minimum range shows the range when
R
consumption is high, e.g. as a result of a
sporty driving style or having the air condition-
ing system turned on.
This range is determined based on past and
R
current consumption figures.
