Switching the power source
You can select the power source to use when you connect the player to an AC power source. There are 2 options: the
built-in rechargeable battery (battery power), and AC power.
Battery power is free from interference by usage conditions. Select battery power for a cleaner power signal and higher
audio quality.
Tap on the information area (

Select [Battery] or [AC].

To use battery power preferentially
The player can power on with battery power, even while the AC adaptor (supplied) is connected. Tap the menu items in
the following order to add a check mark.
– [Settings] – [Device Settings] ([Basic Settings]) – [Battery Preferred].
Even when you select [Battery Preferred], charging will start if the following conditions are met.
