Reducing device shake
Use the Optical Image Stabiliser (OIS) option to reduce or eliminate blurriness from device
shake.
Tap → Expert → A / S / M / P, and then from the preview screen, tap
(anti-shake) to help focus when the device is moving.
To use this feature in camcorder mode, tap → Expert →
→ Camcorder → OIS (anti-shake).

• T he Image Stabilisation function may not function properly in the following
conditions:
– When moving the device to follow a moving subject.
– If the device is shaking too much.
– When the shutter speed is slow (for example, when taking photos in low-light
conditions).
– If the battery power is low.
– When taking close-up photos.
• U sing this function with a tripod may blur photos because of vibration from the
OIS sensor. Deactivate this feature when using a tripod.
• T he display may be blurry if the device is hit or dropped. When this happens,
restart the device.
