Before installing the Redundant Fan Unit, carefully read the "Notes on Use" described in the User's Guide

Precautions on Handling

Observe the following after unpacking the redundant fan unit.
Do not place fan unit in a place with much dust, corrosive gas in presence, or with possibilities of
chemicals or liquid sprayed over.
Do not place the fan unit near equipment which generates intense magnetic field.

Transfer to Third Party

When you transfer (or sell) the Redundant Fan Unit to a third party, also give this guide to the party.
Keep this manual in safe place.

Make sure to power off the server and unplug the power cord from a power
outlet and disconnect all the cables connected with the external devices
before installing/removing any optional device to/from the server. Failure to
follow this instruction may cause an electric hazard or failure of the server.
