10.4.1.2. Adjustment procedure
1. Play test disc T01 (inner periphery).
2. Set the unit to the tilt adjustment service mode. (Press PAUSE
and PLAY buttons on the player, and "5" button on the remote
control unit.)
3. Make sure that "XX-YYYZZ" appears on the display of the disc
cover.
For your information:
"yyy" shown to the right have nothing to do with the jitter value. "XX" is the error counter, while
"zz" is the focus drive value.
Note:
Jitter value appears on the front display.
4. Adjust tangential adjustment screw A (at inner periphery side of
the jack shaft) so that the jitter value is minimized. (See

of the main shaft) from the bottom so that the jitter value is
minimized. (See
6. Play test disc T43 (outer periphery).
7. Adjust the tangential adjustment screw C (at outer periphery side
of the jack shaft) so that the jitter value is minimized. (See
8. Play test disc T01 (inner periphery).
