Primary Drive Clutch Maintenance
The primary clutch is designed to provide long life with a minimum amount of maintenance.
Routine cleaning and servicing is needed to ensure longevity in the vehicle.
PRIMARY DRIVE CLUTCH SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
Workman
1. Stop engine and engage parking brake.
2. Raise and latch cargo box. (As Required)
3. Remove three fasteners and separate cover from the clutch.
4. Clean the clutch and cover using dry methods (brush or cloth). If using compressed air, take
necessary precautions to avoid inhaling dust.
5. Lubricate the cam weights, pivots and roller pivots using Toro Dry Lubricant (104-7011) spray.
6. Install the clutch cover and torque the three fasteners to 75 to 150 in–lb (8.5 – 11 N-m).
