Manual thread tension

This machine is equipped with automatic thread tension
control. However, you may need to manually adjust the
tension balance depending on the sewing conditions.
To adjust the thread tension, press the adjust key to open
the manual setting window.

Individual thread tension adjustment

To apply the thread tension adjustment to each letter
individually, select the letter by moving the cursor.
Press "+" or "–" to adjust the thread tension of the selected
letter. The adjusted thread tension is applied to the
selected letter.

Unified thread tension adjustment

To apply the thread tension adjustment to all letters
together, you do not need to select the letter.
Press the unified thread tension key q. The key turns
orange when activated.
Press "+" or "–" to adjust the thread tension.
Press OK key. The adjusted thread tension is applied to all
entered letters.
When unified thread tension control is applied, the thread
tension window turns to orange w.
NOTE:
Unified thread tension adjustment can be applied
monogram patterns only.

Spacing

To enter a space in monogramming, press one of
the three space keys on the lower right corner of the
monogram selection.
q Space keys
w Small-size space
e Medium-size space
r Large-size space

Reducing the size of letters

To reduce the height of a character to approximately 2/3
of its original size, select the character and press the
letter size key q.
