Notes on water resistant feature

Water resistant performance of the speaker
The speaker, with the cap closed securely, complies with the water resistant specifications of IPX4 (while in the vertical

orientation) and IPX2 (while in the horizontal orientation)

3/4 in) in every direction.
*2 IPX2 equivalency: The speaker maintains its performance while slanted by 15 degrees and subjected to vertically falling water drops. This
means that no trace of water is found inside the speaker after a total of 10 minutes of testing, where the speaker is slanted by 15 degrees from
the vertical orientation in four different directions, and while placed at each slanted angle, subjected to vertically falling water drops of 3 mm/min
for 2.5 minutes.

The supplied accessories and the connectors of this speaker (AC IN/USB/AUDIO IN/OPTICAL IN/MIC/GUITAR) are not water resistant. To
reduce the risk of fires or electric shocks, do not expose the speaker to water or droplets while using any connectors (AC IN/USB/AUDIO
IN/OPTICAL IN/MIC/GUITAR). Do not place a vase or any other liquid-filled container on the speaker.
The water resistant performance of the speaker is based on our measurements under the conditions herein described.
Note that malfunctions as a result of water immersion or dust intrusion caused by misuse by the customer are not
covered by the warranty.
To avoid the deterioration of the water resistant performance
Carefully note the precautions below to ensure proper use of the speaker.
This speaker does not have a design that is resistant to water pressure. Do not put the speaker in the water or
directly under the water gushing out of the faucet to avoid a malfunction.
Do not pour high-temperature water or blow hot air from a hair dryer or any other appliance on the speaker directly.
Also never use the speaker in a place subject to high temperatures, such as in a sauna or near a heat source.
Handle the cap (
