and the communication status.

The LEDs have the following meaning:
S SF:
S BF:
S DC5V:
S RX/TX: Acyclic data exchange, for example SEND/RECEIVE
S RUN:
S STOP: STOP mode
S X1 / P1: Link status of Ethernet port 1
S X1 / P2: Link status of Ethernet port 2
S MAINT Maintenance necessary (Check/evaluate the diagnostic buffer)
